Dental prosthesis on basal implant

prothèse_dentaire_sur_implant

Complete dental rehabilitation consists of restoring the dentition as a whole. It is implemented when all the teeth are missing, or when they must be extracted and the patient requires a global approach to regain both the aesthetic and functional appearance of his teeth.

Dental rehabilitation is a complex treatment, which, to be successful, requires a perfect mastery of implant surgery techniques on the part of the dental surgeon and also very good knowledge and mastery of prosthetic production.

The temporary prosthesis fixed on 6 to 10 implants

A fixed implant prosthesis placed immediately (a few days) after surgery should always be temporary. You should not place a permanent prosthesis directly because the gums are swollen and they will deflate in the weeks that follow.

By deflating, the gums leave an empty space between the teeth and the gum. It is therefore necessary to wait 4 to 6 months after the surgery for the gums to deflate and stabilize to make a new dental impression which is used to create the definitive dental prosthesis (crown or bridge).

This applies equally to conventional implants as well as to the basal implant.

Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, temporary prostheses can also be produced with the CAD/CAM process. This operation can take place in our own laboratory located directly in our dental clinic.

Indeed, the prostheses created in CAD / CAM use PMMA for the prostheses of long duration. We use composite for the strength and beauty of these temporary teeth. The difference in the manufacturing process lies on the one hand in the digitization of the work steps in the laboratory and on the other hand in the production of the PMMA.

Machining discs for the CAD/CAM process are manufactured industrially. Due to the industrial production of the discs, errors in polymerization are excluded. This means that the PMMA is non-allergenic and machined perfectly for the patient’s jawbone.

The ceramic bridge fixed on 6 to 10 implants

It is one of the most commonly used bridge structures with good aesthetics and relatively low cost. The technology is the production of ceramic teeth.

This is the most complete dental bridge that allows the replacement of all teeth in the upper or lower jaw.

It is a very reliable solution in the long term and will require fewer interventions over time, it is also one of the most aesthetic solutions.

The advantages of the full fixed bridge are manifold:

Stability, feel, comfort and bone stimulation are comparable to natural dentition, and maintenance is very easy. You will be able to eat all foods without any restrictions.

What are the advantages of ceramic crowns?

– resistance;
Thanks to the fact that porcelain-fused metal crowns are very resistant, they are recommended for molar and premolar teeth where the chewing force is stronger.
– the natural appearance of the tooth;
The metal ceramic dental crown gives a natural look to the tooth (although the metal-free ceramic crown gives a more natural look).
– good price.
The ceramic crown has a much lower price compared to the zirconium one.

The Zirconium bridge fixed on 6 to 10 implants

It has the specificity of not having a metal frame.

Zirconia crowns are attracting more and more patients because they have many advantages.

What are the advantages of zirconia crowns?

The zirconia crown has several advantages that allow it to offer a much more interesting solution than all the other types of crowns that are usually offered by dentists in Hungary.

The core of the zirconia crown is made using computer-aided design techniques, which provides a perfect result and a prosthesis that will fit perfectly into the patient’s jawbone.

The interior of the zirconia crown is made of zirconium oxide, a white material, which allows light to pass through. This characteristic allows the zirconia prosthesis to behave exactly like a real tooth, so it will let light through like other teeth, which will allow it to blend in perfectly with other teeth.

The zirconium oxide which constitutes the core of the zirconia crown has better mechanical properties than the other dental materials usually used, while being much more resistant. Zirconia crowns therefore have a much longer lifespan than all other dental crowns.

Zirconia crowns offer a perfect finish that is made in ceramic layer after layer to obtain a perfect finish.

The zirconia crown does not transmit an electrical charge and also offers greater resistance to cold and heat, which allows it to offer greater thermal resistance.

Zirconia crowns offer great resistance to mechanical stresses, which allows them to be used to replace molars, which are subjected to the greatest pressure during chewing.

Zirconia crowns do not contain any allergenic material, so they can be used in patients with allergy problems.

Zirconia crowns offer greater resistance to infection.

The advantages of a complete fixed prosthesis

The complete bridge on implants is generally considered to be the solution offering the closest result to a natural dentition in terms of prosthetic restoration. Beyond this visual advantage, we can also mention:

That it offers a lasting solution
That it is very comfortable
That it allows you to find the full functionality of your teeth
That it does not require glue

The price and reimbursement of a complete fixed prosthesis

A complete bridge on implants made in our clinic will cost you on average 50 – 70% less than in France.
However, the price of this treatment will depend on the quantity of implants needed and the material chosen for the bridge. In all cases, the mutuals cover part of this care.
