Warranty periods for dental implant
The implants are guaranteed for life by the distributor.
Guarantee in case of dental implant failure
In the event of implant failure, the removal of the implant and the fitting of a new implant (if possible) are covered by the dental implant guarantee. This does not concern the basal implant because implant rejection does not exist in this area of implantation.
Please note that the warranty does not cover temporary prostheses or root canal treatments. In addition, the guarantee of your dental care is only valid if the dentist has completed all the work and if the patient has paid for the entire treatment.
What conditions must be respected?
The guarantee of your dental care is only under certain conditions. Therefore, the guarantee (dental implant, dental crown and dental bridge) will be canceled in the following circumstances:
- If the patient neglects his daily oral hygiene, the maintenance of his permanent dental prostheses and does not take care to carry out the mandatory quarterly scaling sessions.
- If the patient does not follow the dental surgeon’s post-operative instructions.
- If the patient suffers from general pathologies producing an alteration of the oral condition (diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, chemotherapy, strong weight gain or loss of weight over a short period, radiotherapy, serious or sports accident, emotional shock, acute smoking , etc.).
- If the patient does not inform Sourire Dentaire or the clinic of any problem within 48 hours maximum.
